Here's what's new in Pocket LTW. Missing something? Tap “Feedback” at the bottom left.

New name: Pocket LTW

  • Tornkampen is now called Pocket LTW – Line Tower Wars in your pocket. Same game, same account, same matches.
  • When you nudge your opponent with a link, the preview in the chat shows the match: names, lives, income and whose turn it is.

Every match is to the death

  • No more picking how many turns to play. Every match – online, against the computer and two on one phone – is played until someone has 0 lives. Just like real Line Tower Wars.
  • So a match can no longer end with equal lives and be decided on income. You have to take your opponent down.
  • Lives your opponent loses to your monsters become yours, in every match.
  • Matches that were already started keep their number of turns. A rematch is always to the death.

Now in English

  • The game speaks English from the start now – the Line Tower Wars crowd is all over the world, and now everyone can join in.
  • Prefer Swedish? Tap Svenska at the bottom of the start page, or pick a language under Settings. Your choice follows your account to every device you log in on.
  • Notifications and emails come in the language you picked.
  • Pages have English addresses now, like /rules and /leaderboard. Old links and invites work just like before.

Out of lives – the match ends right away

  • Whoever runs out of lives first loses, and the match is decided on the spot. Before, the player moving second still had to finish the round, so someone who had already lost was left waiting for nothing.
  • Matches that were stuck waiting like that have now been settled – and the winner can no longer lose on time in a match that's already won.

Notifications, chat pop-ups and evening tournaments

  • Notifications are on from the start: your phone asks the first time you tap Done in an online match. If you'd rather not get them, turn them off in Settings.
  • When your opponent writes in the chat, you get a notification – and in the app, the message pops up in a box. Unread messages show in your match list.
  • Add the game to your home screen with one button – directly on Android, and on iPhone we show you the steps.
  • Leaderboard rating: beat someone stronger and you gain more points, beat someone weaker and you gain fewer.
  • Evening tournament: 10 minutes per round, so everyone can play at the same time. You can also pick 1, 24 or 48 hours per round.
  • The base wave is now called the wild wave, and monsters your opponent sent carry a pennant – so you can see what's coming from whom.
  • Try a match without the wild wave: then only what your opponent sends comes at you. An experiment – not balanced yet.
  • The report on your sent monsters now says which turn they were sent on, and which ones are still on their way.
  • And this page.

Leaderboard, tournaments and endless matches

  • The leaderboard: wins, win rate, matches, turns, monsters sent and killed, and lives taken – this month and all time.
  • Victory celebrations with confetti and gold coins, and “Play again” for the winner.
  • Endless match: play until someone has zero lives. Lives your opponent loses to your monsters become yours.
  • Tournaments for 3–12 players in a ring: you send to your neighbor and take lives from whoever you beat.
  • A feedback button – tell us what you'd like to see, and we'll read it.
  • The wave can no longer be started by accident.
